BCBA in Orting, WA

Seeking a certified BCBA to provide essential support at a school located near Orting, WA on a contract basis. This in-person position covers a staff leave and is available immediately through the end of the school year. Key Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Previous experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Comfortable providing supervision and guidance to Behavior Technicians
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff
• Must be available to work on-site; remote work is not available for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for assigned students
• Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Provide direct supervision and support to a Behavior Technician carrying out a short-term plan
• Collaborate with educational staff to monitor progress and recommend adjustments as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Position Details:

• Hours: 10-15 hours per week, fully on-site
• Assignment runs from now through the end of the school year
• Caseload is manageable and focused, emphasizing intensive support for one case due to a staff leave
