Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic educational setting near Palisades, WA. This onsite, in-person contract role runs from August 26th to June 27th and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across a diverse range of grade levels, from PreK through postsecondary.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience working in school settings preferred, supporting students across multiple age groups
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Skilled in developing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of a varied student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support and provide behavioral services to students throughout the PK-12+ system
- Conduct assessments, design intervention plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure effective implementation of behavioral strategies
- Offer training and guidance to staff and families around best practices in behavior management
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable regulations and school procedures
- Be present onsite for 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the academic year
