Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Papillion, Nebraska

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting older students (grades 6-12) in a unique educational setting near Papillion, NE, with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis. This role addresses students whose needs exceed what the district can independently provide, yet do not require full clinical placement. You’ll be working alongside a collaborative team — including RBTs, paraprofessionals, and educators — to help students thrive in an integrated, continuum-of-care environment.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
• Experience working with middle and high school-aged students, ideally with intensive behavioral challenges
• Strong leadership skills to provide guidance to RBTs, paraprofessionals, and teachers
• Deep understanding of function-based behavior intervention and crisis support
• Proven ability to manage and train staff in high-intensity situations

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans for students with extreme behaviors (e.g., elopement, self-injury, aggression)
• Directly support and train a team of 10 RBTs/paras and additional aides in behavioral protocols and crisis intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with educational partners to ensure effective teamwork and consistent care for physically larger and older students
• Provide ongoing professional development and leadership to in-building staff, focusing on safe and supportive classroom practices
• Work in a non-isolation setting, ensuring interventions are tailored to meet students where they are within the continuum

This assignment runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal or permanent placement.
