Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Paterson, New Jersey

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Proven experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational settings
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior modification techniques
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop, analyze, and revise individualized behavioral support plans
• Up-to-date on industry best practices and state/federal compliance regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate student needs through functional behavior assessments
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
• Train and coach school staff, educators, and paraprofessionals on ABA techniques and behavior interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
• Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain timely documentation of interventions, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school policies
