Key Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience applying behavior analysis within school environments
- Strong understanding of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Exceptional organization, documentation, and time management abilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments for students and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and administration to implement and model effective strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize outcomes
- Train school staff in evidence-based behavioral techniques and data collection methods
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with all regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, presenting data and recommendations in a clear, meaningful way
