A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students and educators in a dynamic school environment near Paterson, NJ. This contract role is available immediately and extends through December 23rd, covering a maternity leave. You'll play a vital role working 1:1 with students, collaborating directly with classroom teachers, and providing impactful behavioral strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Recent experience in a school or educational setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention plans
  • Ability to train and support teachers and aides
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 behavioral support and assessment for individual students
  • Guide teachers in implementing evidence-based strategies for classroom success
  • Provide direct and ongoing training to aides and teachers supporting students throughout the district
  • Develop, track, and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report on student progress
