Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Pawtucket, RI

Step into an exciting opportunity to shape behavioral support systems within a dynamic K-8 educational environment. This newly created, in-person Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role offers the chance to help establish best practices alongside a collaborative team of behavioral specialists, social workers, and educators. The majority of your work will focus on grades K-3, though you’ll serve the full K-8 population, with a shared, evolving caseload that ensures every day brings new opportunities to make an impact.

Your schedule will generally be 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, with extended hours until 4:45 PM on Wednesdays for valuable team meetings. Some scheduling flexibility is possible, including consideration of part-time candidates. The position seeks immediate availability and is aimed at long-term, permanent placement.

What we’re looking for:

• Active BCBA certification
• Master’s degree in special education, school psychology, social work, counseling, applied behavior analysis, or a related field (required)
• Experience or interest in developing procedures, systems, and structures in a collaborative team-based environment
• A passion for working directly with students, families, and staff within a diverse school community
• Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a drive to learn and grow in a supportive setting

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral assessments and create, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, social workers, and families
• Mentor and coach colleagues in behavioral strategies
• Analyze and track student data to inform ongoing practices
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
