Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address individual student needs
  • Work in close partnership with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families to develop proactive, effective behavioral strategies
  • Monitor student progress through systematic data collection and analysis; adjust interventions as necessary based on outcomes
  • Lead staff training sessions and offer ongoing support in behavior management and the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Ensure accurate documentation for all behavior services and maintain compliance with relevant state, federal, and district regulations

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
  • Direct experience working with school-aged children (K–8), with preference for candidates who have supported learners in educational environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, as well as effective collaboration and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple student cases, prioritize responsibilities, and meet critical deadlines
  • Familiarity with relevant special education laws, ethical guidelines, and evidence-based practices
