Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address individual student needs
- Work in close partnership with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families to develop proactive, effective behavioral strategies
- Monitor student progress through systematic data collection and analysis; adjust interventions as necessary based on outcomes
- Lead staff training sessions and offer ongoing support in behavior management and the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Ensure accurate documentation for all behavior services and maintain compliance with relevant state, federal, and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
- Direct experience working with school-aged children (K–8), with preference for candidates who have supported learners in educational environments
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, as well as effective collaboration and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple student cases, prioritize responsibilities, and meet critical deadlines
- Familiarity with relevant special education laws, ethical guidelines, and evidence-based practices
