Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Placitas, NM

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Proven ability to develop and implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Skilled in creating and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including participation in meetings and effective documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs and grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive FBAs to assess student behaviors and environment
• Develop and oversee the implementation of individualized BIPs
• Participate as a key team member in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations
• Offer consultation and training to teachers, support staff, and parents on evidence-based behavioral strategies
• Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain comprehensive documentation
