Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
- Previous experience providing ABA strategies in school settings
- Strong ability to train and mentor teachers and paraprofessionals
- Expertise in data analysis to reduce challenging behaviors
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a behavioral support resource for five classrooms, fostering positive learning environments
- Coach and train staff on ABA principles and best practices using real-time, hands-on modeling
- Collaborate on reducing challenging student behaviors and reinforce positive interactions through data-driven techniques
- Provide written follow-up after modeling or intervention, ensuring continuity and long-term success
- Step in as classroom support during staff absences or shortages as needed
- Offer professional development sessions on topics like data collection, behavior management, and the use of classroom visuals during designated PD days
