This contract opportunity runs from August 3rd through June 25th, offering 35 hours per week with flexible scheduling within Monday to Friday, aligning with school operating hours. You’ll serve a dynamic district-wide position, providing expertise across multiple campus locations, and make a significant impact supporting students of all grade levels.
You will work alongside dedicated behavioral technicians—every elementary campus is staffed with techs, and you’ll also be assigned a direct behavioral tech for additional support. The caseload varies depending on team coverage, with three open specialist positions to help collaboratively serve students in all 24 schools across the district.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Proven experience in a school-based or pediatric behavioral setting
- Expertise developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Comfort supporting diverse student populations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between multiple district sites as needed
In This Role You Will:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and collect relevant data
- Design, monitor, and adjust behavior support plans for students in all grades
- Train school staff and behavior technicians on evidenced-based interventions
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams
- Provide ongoing consultation and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
