As a travel Behavior Intervention Specialist, you'll collaborate with a variety of educators, administrators, and families—offering you valuable exposure to diverse workplace practices, innovative leadership styles, and different approaches to student support. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsements
- Experience in SPED, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Strongly prefer backgrounds in school counseling, LPC, BCBA, psychology, or social work
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Actively participate in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings
- Offer classroom support and assist in crisis intervention situations
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families
