Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsements
• Experience in special education, social work, counseling, or a related discipline
• Preferred backgrounds: School counselor, LPC, BCBA, or psychology/social work
• Ability to develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Strong familiarity with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, refine, and support effective BIPs for students
• Conduct FBAs to guide interventions and instructional practices
• Participate in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings to inform student services
• Offer in-classroom support and respond to crisis intervention needs
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
