Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
• Experience working with children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Strong background in training and supporting multidisciplinary teams and classroom staff.
• Skilled in crisis prevention and intervention, with experience using proactive de-escalation and least restrictive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct FBAs and design evidence-based BIPs tailored to student needs.
• Train teachers, assistants, and classroom staff on implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Actively support during behavioral crises using Safety-Care protocols, emphasizing student dignity and positive outcomes.
• Foster ongoing collaboration with teachers, therapists, families, and other team members.
• Monitor student data to drive behavioral programming adjustments.
• Participate in and help plan professional development opportunities for the broader educational community.
