Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Demonstrated experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Skilled in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Proven ability to supervise and support Behavior Technicians (BT)
  • Prior work in a school or educational environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for students as needed
  • Develop new Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and update existing ones
  • Oversee and provide guidance to a BT, ensuring fidelity in implementing a short-term behavior plan
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation related to assessments, plans, and interventions
  • Participate actively in team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as required
