Seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve students in a dynamic school setting near Rantoul, IL. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about promoting positive behavioral changes and supporting student success through evidence-based practices.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working in school environments or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Deep understanding of behavioral assessment tools, data collection, and intervention planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and staff
- Ability to provide training and guidance to support personnel and teachers
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Design and implement interventions to support positive behavioral outcomes for students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure strategies are consistent across school environments
- Train educational staff and paraprofessionals on behavior intervention plans and behavioral support strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed, maintaining detailed documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on effective behavioral programming
