Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Redwood City, California

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) skilled in supporting high school and post-secondary students. This position is set to begin as soon as possible and continue through June 3, 2027. You'll work 30 hours weekly, with a daily schedule of either 8:30-4:00 or 8:15-3:45 (7 hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), providing valuable behavioral support and guidance to students across two to three school sites in the Redwood City area.

Key Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification is required
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with grades 9-12+ and post-secondary students
• Strong ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Organized, self-motivated, and flexible, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative behavioral services for students in high school and post-secondary programs
• Conduct approximately 10-15 FBAs/BIPs per school year (none are overdue)
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure effective behavioral strategies are implemented
• Participate in meetings and contribute expertise to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements
• Supervision of RBTs is not required at this time but may be possible in the future
