This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for a dedicated BCBA seeking an onsite role at a supportive educational setting near Rockville, MD. The position is ideally full-time, but experienced part-time candidates (minimum three days per week) are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills for interfacing with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to handle a dynamic school environment with flexibility and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs and effective supports
- Collect and analyze data for ongoing evaluation of student progress and program efficacy
- Train, guide, and support teachers and classroom staff on behavioral strategies and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
- Model positive behavioral supports and provide crisis intervention when necessary
This is a fully onsite role, fostering hands-on collaboration. Full-time participation is preferred, but those able to commit at least three days per week may be considered.
