This full-time opportunity (30 hours per week, Monday through Friday) is perfect for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who thrives in a school environment and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. With a competitive hourly range of $50-60, compensation will reflect your professional experience and degree level.
You'll work closely with school psychology and administrative teams to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), carry out student observations, develop and implement effective interventions, and design individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). This role is itinerant, providing coverage across several nearby high school campuses. A background in supporting students with emotional disturbances is highly valued.
Qualifications Sought:
- Valid BCBA certification through the BACB
- At least one year of experience in school-based settings
- High school experience, specifically with emotionally disturbed (ED) student populations
- Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Strong skills in communication and teamwork
- Reliable transportation for travel between campuses
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with district staff on behavioral supports and individualized interventions
- Leading or contributing to FBAs and BIP development
- Providing guidance on crisis response strategies
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
