A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide coverage during a maternity leave for the 26/27 school year. In this full-time position, you'll work Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, supporting a caseload of 35-45 students. The anticipated assignment runs from August 18, 2026, through October 23, 2026, with potential adjustments based on the return date.
In this school-based role, you’ll collaborate closely with classroom teachers, offering real-time training and coaching in program implementation. Consultation with classroom staff and teamwork with fellow BCBAs will also be important aspects of your daily routine. You’ll be relied upon for building-wide responsibilities such as assisting with student arrival and dismissal, providing immediate support in crisis situations, delivering direct student services, and handling other tasks as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience providing behavioral support in educational settings
- Strong skills in team collaboration, training, and consultation
- Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload efficiently
- Flexibility and readiness to respond to dynamic school needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support programs
- Train and coach teachers on program procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with other BCBAs and school staff to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in school operations such as arrival and dismissal
- Respond effectively to crisis situations
- Deliver direct services to students as needed
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by school administration
