This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse population across multiple classrooms, focusing your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a setting dedicated to students with significant behavioral and physical needs.

You’ll collaborate closely with staff across one building, providing critical guidance and direct intervention for approximately 35-40 students, many of whom are in a setting designed specifically for those with complex behavioral challenges. Your knowledge and compassion will play a vital role as you conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), lead debriefings, and manage documentation and paperwork requirements, all while helping to shape positive outcomes for students and staff alike.

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential; experience in school-based settings highly valued.
  • Previous work with students in setting four or similar environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and balance paperwork, documentation, and debriefing responsibilities effectively.
  • Confidence and calm in supporting students with severe behavior and physical disabilities.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and adaptability when engaging with classrooms and educational teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral consultation and direct support to multiple classrooms and staff.
  • Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and regular debriefings.
  • Maintain timely, detailed documentation in alignment with district guidelines.
  • Collaborate across building teams to enhance outcomes for students and educators.
