Your week will consist of 37.5 hours, working closely with a diverse caseload that may shift based on district needs. You'll play a vital role in fostering student progress, consulting with educational teams, and ensuring the effective implementation of behavior supports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and inform planning
- Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams to build capacity in positive behavior supports
- Monitor student progress, analyze data, and maintain thorough documentation to track outcomes and support interventions
- Collaborate with IEP teams and actively participate in meetings as required to ensure cohesive educational planning
Required Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Appropriate state licensure to practice as a BCBA in Oregon
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of elementary, middle, and high school environments
