Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Salinas, CA

Bring your expertise and passion for supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a rewarding school-based setting near Salinas, CA. This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time schedules, extending from ASAP through June 5th, 2026. As part of an engaged interdisciplinary team, you’ll develop and implement behavior intervention plans, provide guidance to staff, and advocate for students’ needs. You will play a crucial role in helping create an encouraging environment for learning and personal growth, ensuring each child receives tailored, evidence-based support.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active BCBA certification.
• Prior experience working with elementary school populations is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively consult with staff, teachers, and families to support student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop data-driven behavior intervention plans for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement strategies and ensure consistency across environments.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide training and support for paraprofessionals and staff regarding behavior management.
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required.
