This full-time, contract opportunity offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, servicing various sites within a dynamic district near San Bernardino, CA. Your work will help foster positive behavioral change and empower staff, students, and families with practical solutions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention planning
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and navigate multiple school sites effectively
- Passion for helping children and adolescents achieve behavioral and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students across district sites
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform recommendations
- Train, coach, and support educational staff in evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistency in behavior support
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary and contribute to development of positive behavioral supports
- Maintain timely documentation and adhere to district guidelines and best practices
