Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification and credentials required
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skill in creating functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Ability to provide direct and consultative behavior services to diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, working collaboratively with staff, parents, and students
- Capacity for data-driven decision-making and detailed record keeping
- Flexibility, compassion, and a growth mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based intervention plans
- Supervise, coach, and train school staff on effective behavioral strategies and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with special education teams, administrators, and external partners
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Provide ongoing consultation, support, and education to families and school staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all ethical and compliance standards
