Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification required
- Previous experience providing behavioral services in a school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with elementary-aged children or similar caseloads beneficial
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans tailored to elementary students
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and collect ongoing data
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure cohesive student support
- Offer training, consultation, and guidance to school staff and families
- Monitor and adjust intervention strategies for optimal student progress
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and certification standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
