Licensed Certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - San Luis Obispo, California

Seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an exciting full-time contract role supporting students in a dynamic school-based setting near San Luis Obispo, CA. As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you’ll have the chance to deliver evidence-based behavioral strategies, support staff, and directly influence student outcomes. The work schedule is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with caseloads adapted to the evolving needs of each district.

What you'll bring:

• Current and active BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
• Licensure in California (if required by state law)
• Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing targeted Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Excellent collaboration and communication with educators, families, and support staff

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Design and implement robust Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Offer expert consultation, modeling, and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams
• Collaborate within IEP teams and contribute expertise during meetings
• Monitor student progress, analyze behavioral data, and provide timely documentation
