Qualifications:
- Valid and current California Board of Occupational Therapy License (copy required)
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist or a highly skilled COTA
- In-depth understanding of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for working with school-aged populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of student-centered intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support a holistic approach to student progress
- Maintain thorough records of therapy sessions and student responses in compliance with state and district policies
- Offer consultative support and strategies for staff and families to facilitate student success in the classroom
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
