Qualifications and Experience:

• California Board of Occupational Therapy license (OT or COTA).
• Preferred background working within school settings, addressing the unique needs of school-age children.
• Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
• Strong communication skills for consultation, reporting, and coordination with staff and families.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning spaces and supporting diverse learners.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a varied caseload of students on one campus, encompassing a range of age groups and needs.
• Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver effective interventions to promote students' functional independence and participation in academic and social activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure integration of therapy goals into daily routines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and support the development of student program goals.
• Offer guidance and training for educational staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce therapeutic outcomes.
