Make a meaningful impact on student development and support a school community as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is located near Santa Maria, CA, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Your skills in behavioral analysis will help ensure students have the resources they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid BCBA certification (current and in good standing)
  • Experience providing behavioral services in educational settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Knowledge of data collection systems, behavior intervention plans, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and support to school staff regarding behavioral strategies and positive behavior supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address student needs and implement effective interventions
  • Monitor and analyze data to assess progress and make adjustments to interventions as needed
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure behavioral services are incorporated appropriately
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with all policies and regulations
