Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Assess student needs using evidence-based assessment tools and data collection methods
- Provide ongoing training and support for teachers, paraprofessionals, and family members
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide adjustments in intervention plans
- Facilitate IEP and other relevant meetings, ensuring ABA strategies are aligned with student goals
- Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere that aligns with school values
