Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Demonstrated success providing behavioral interventions in school environments
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Ability to design and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity with elementary, middle, and high school settings and their unique needs
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and professional ethics
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student behavior and identify appropriate interventions
- Develop, monitor, and revise individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Deliver staff training and coaching for effective implementation of behavioral strategies
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to track progress and adjust supports as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting
- Maintain detailed records and reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Serve as a resource for behavioral best practices school-wide
