Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification and relevant state licensure
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
- Background in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage a varied caseload
- Prior school-based or educational experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and design tailored interventions
- Write and update behavior intervention plans in collaboration with other professionals
- Lead staff training and coaching on effective behavioral support strategies
- Monitor student progress via consistent data collection and analysis
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive behavior
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Adapt intervention techniques based on ongoing evaluation and student needs
