This full-time (40 hours per week) position offers a diverse, itinerant caseload primarily focused on elementary students, with collaborative opportunities alongside teachers at the middle and high school levels. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), and providing guidance to educators to foster positive student outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- National BCBA certification is required.
- You must also hold a current Oregon Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license.
- Strong background working in school settings—especially at the elementary level.
- Experience conducting FBAs and writing BIPs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers and staff.
- Comfort traveling between three school sites as part of an itinerant service model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct FBAs for students referred for behavioral support or intervention.
- Develop individualized BIPs and support educational staff in implementation.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff at elementary, middle, and high schools.
- Consult regularly with multidisciplinary teams to review student progress and update plans as needed.
- Train and coach school staff in evidence-based practices and behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation, adhering to district and legal guidelines.
