Make an immediate impact supporting students with severe disabilities and autism ages 2–22 as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an engaging, school-based assignment. This full-time contract role is located onsite and plays a pivotal part in the well-being and progress of students by providing behavioral support, interventions, and collaborative leadership alongside educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification (documentation required with application)
- Demonstrated experience as a BCBA in school settings
- Strong skills in de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention
- Proficient in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Collaborative communicator able to engage productively with multi-disciplinary teams on developing behavior goals for IEPs
- Familiarity supporting students with severe needs and autism spectrum disorders
- Onsite presence required—remote work is not an option
Role Responsibilities:
- Participate actively as part of the school’s crisis response team, providing de-escalation guidance
- Perform in-depth FBAs and create tailored BSPs for students as needed
- Support the development and tracking of behavior goals for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teaching staff, offering behavioral strategies and data collection assistance
- Provide direct behavioral intervention and consultation to both students and staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure consistent implementation of interventions
This role runs from August 19, 2026, to June 11, 2027, Monday through Friday, aligning with a standard school-week schedule.
