Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with severe disabilities and autism, ages 2–22, as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This essential, full-time role is exclusively on-site and focuses on providing direct behavioral support, conducting assessments, and collaborating on individualized educational plans within a welcoming school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification required
- Proven experience working as a BCBA in a school-based setting
- Comfort supporting students with severe disabilities and autism
- Strong de-escalation skills and ability to participate effectively on a crisis team
- Verified ability to develop Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Availability for full-time hours (37.5 hours/week), Monday–Friday, for the entire school year
- Reliable transportation to the on-site location
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and best practices in behavioral support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students and staff through proactive behavioral interventions
- Conduct FBAs and develop targeted Behavior Support Plans
- Serve as a critical member of the crisis team, emphasizing de-escalation techniques
- Collaborate with IEP teams to establish and monitor behavioral goals
- Train and consult with school staff on behavioral data collection and implementation of plans
- Ensure compliance with all school and state guidelines regarding behavioral support services
