Qualifications:
• Active Delaware BCBA licensure or certification
• Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Support Planning
• Strong background supporting students with autism and severe disabilities
• Ability to remain calm and participate in crisis interventions when needed
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to student escalations as a proactive member of the crisis team
• Conduct thorough Functional Behavioral Assessments to identify student needs
• Write and update Behavior Support Plans tailored to individual students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to set meaningful IEP behavior goals
• Guide and mentor school staff on best practices for behavioral interventions
• Ensure consistent, accurate data collection to inform ongoing support
