Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Somerville, MA

Make a difference in the academic and personal growth of students by providing essential behavioral and consultative support within an engaging school environment. This full-time position is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ready to work with diverse elementary and middle school caseloads. Contracts begin as short-term placements, with the strong possibility of extension should the role remain open for permanent hire.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active BCBA certification and license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience supporting students in school-based settings
• Strong understanding of IEP service delivery models for both inclusion and substantially separate classrooms
• Ability to complete required CORI and fingerprinting (CORI must be done in person at the main office)
• Preparedness to collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and parents
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and consultation to staff for students across elementary and middle school sites
• Design and oversee behavioral interventions and monitor student progress based on individual education plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective implementation of positive behavioral supports
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Serve as a resource for best practices in applied behavior analysis within the school community
• Maintain meticulous documentation of student services and progress

This is an onsite opportunity with a consistent weekly schedule—35 hours per week—beginning as soon as possible and tentatively running through June 2027.
