Key Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical environments
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing training
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and draft individualized behavior intervention plans
- Support implementation of ABA strategies with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff members
- Monitor progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed
- Engage families in the intervention process and provide resources for carryover at home
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student programming
