In this role, your skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) will be invaluable. You’ll provide consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams, playing a key role in promoting positive behavioral outcomes. Collaboration is essential, as you’ll join IEP meetings and work closely with other professionals to align supports for each student.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
  • Licensure for school-based work (as required per state guidelines)
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Solid understanding of functional behavior assessment and behavioral intervention principles

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Design and implement comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Support and coach school personnel on behavioral strategies and best practices
  • Monitor student progress, analyze behavioral data, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
