An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide coverage during a maternity leave for the first semester of the school year. This position is located near Tallassee, AL, and offers a chance to make a significant difference in students’ lives as a long-term substitute.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid BCBA certification required.
  • Previous experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to provide behavioral assessments, develop and monitor behavior intervention plans, and support educational staff.
  • Committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative BCBA services to students in accordance with IEPs.
  • Complete functional behavior assessments and data analysis.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Train and collaborate with teachers, aides, and other school professionals on implementation strategies.
  • Document services and progress, maintaining accurate records as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff and families to support positive student outcomes.

This contract runs 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, throughout the first semester as a long-term substitute.
