Apply today to learn more about this opportunity. Soliant Education is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide onsite behavioral consultation and support services for Lake County Public Schools during the 2026–2027 school year. This position will support students and staff across private school campuses throughout Lake County by developing evidence-based behavioral interventions and providing ongoing consultation and training.

Position Details

  • Part-Time
  • Onsite Only
  • Assignment Dates: September 2026 – May 28, 2027 (exact September start date to be determined)
  • Schedule: 30 hours per week
  • 4 days per week
  • 8-hour workday (7.5 billable hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Assignment: Itinerant role supporting private schools throughout Lake County

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) through observations, record reviews, staff consultation, and appropriate assessment tools
  • Prepare comprehensive behavioral assessment reports for district administration
  • Develop individualized and classroom-wide Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings
  • Train and supervise school staff on the implementation of behavior plans, data collection procedures, and evidence-based interventions
  • Provide behavioral therapy services to individual students and small groups as appropriate
  • Monitor the effectiveness of behavior plans and revise interventions based on student progress
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
  • Assist schools with implementation of social-emotional and behavioral programs, including:
    • Zones of Regulation
    • LEAPS
    • Sanford Harmony
    • Behavior Level Systems
    • Verbal de-escalation strategies
    • Crisis prevention interventions
  • Provide services primarily during student instructional hours while supporting transitions when needed

Qualifications

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Florida licensure/certification as required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Knowledge of social-emotional learning curricula and positive behavior support systems
  • Strong consultation, collaboration, and staff training skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned school sites
