Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid BCBA certification required
- Proven experience in school settings, school-based programs, or with pediatric populations highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of ABA principles, behavior modification techniques, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and report-writing
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced academic environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Implement, monitor, and adapt treatment strategies according to student progress and evolving needs
- Train and support school staff in the application of ABA strategies within the classroom setting
- Track and analyze student data, documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team
