Make a direct and meaningful impact supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school environment. This contract position begins this September and continues through the end of May, offering the opportunity to work 30 hours each week across four days with a schedule primarily during school hours. You’ll collaborate closely with private schools throughout Lake County, providing essential behavioral support services to students and staff.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active BCBA national certification
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans
  • Training or direct work in school settings, especially preferred
  • Strong communication and consultation skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned schools (itinerant role)
  • Flexibility to provide support at varying times, including transitions, as needed
  • Capacity for developing and leading staff training sessions
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate records and generating timely written reports

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments for individual students or classrooms, including multi-setting observations
  • Draft detailed reports and develop intervention plans based on assessment data
  • Train, support, and supervise school and district staff in the implementation of intervention plans and data collection
  • Deliver behavioral therapy services to individuals or small groups as appropriate
  • Monitor and revise plans for maintenance and generalization of student skills
  • Contribute to crisis prevention, de-escalation strategies, and the implementation of social-emotional curricula such as Zones of Regulation
  • Ensure full completion of district onboarding credentials and compliance processes
