BCBA in Vernon Rockville, CT

Exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact this summer! Take on a vital role supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade in an engaging Extended School Year (ESY) program. You’ll work on a contract basis, four days a week (Monday–Thursday), helping ensure continued student growth and positive outcomes.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Previous experience in a school environment is essential
• Comfortable managing a Pre-K–8th grade caseload
• Strong ability to collaborate with education professionals, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication, assessment, and data analysis skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect behavioral support to students during the ESY program
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to assess student needs and develop effective behavioral interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior plans
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to school personnel
• Maintain accurate data, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school standards
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students

Position Details:

• July 7 through July 30 (Mondays–Thursdays, no Fridays)
• Daily hours: 8:30am–12:30pm
• Located near Vernon Rockville, CT
• Contract assignment with potential for renewal based on program needs
• Immediate need for one certified BCBA professional
