Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, active and in good standing
- Previous work in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to design, implement, and assess behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Skilled in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and interpreting results
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Committed to ethical, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee, and continuously evaluate individualized behavior support plans
- Conduct functional assessments to inform strategies and track student progress
- Train and support school staff, paraprofessionals, and families in effective behavioral techniques
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to integrate behavioral supports within IEPs
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data collection in compliance with school policies
- Advocate for students with behavioral needs and participate in team meetings
