Step into an impactful role supporting students from kindergarten through age 22 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This contract opportunity, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 2027, is suited for an experienced BCBA who thrives in collaborative, school-based settings.

Your expertise will drive positive behavioral change through:

  • Conducting thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and designing data-driven behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Training and mentoring classroom staff, teachers, and assistants in effective implementation of individualized behavior strategies
  • Delivering direct support during behavioral crises with Safety-Care techniques, focusing on proactive de-escalation and least restrictive interventions
  • Teaming up with teachers, speech and occupational therapists, and families to create cohesive, student-centered support
  • Using student data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions for optimal outcomes
  • Participating in and helping to plan engaging professional development opportunities with multidisciplinary colleagues

Key qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Experience with school-age populations, ideally working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
