Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavior intervention plans and positive behavior supports
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for students and develop targeted intervention plans
- Oversee implementation of individualized programs and data collection procedures
- Provide training and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Measure student progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
- Document findings, prepare reports, and participate in meetings as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards throughout service delivery
This role is a contract position with an anticipated start as soon as possible, extending through the end of the school year (June). You’ll have the chance to work closely with schools in the Bridgeport and Waterbury areas, making a meaningful difference each day.
