Step into a pivotal role supporting students in a therapeutic social-emotional program designed to facilitate seamless transitions back into general education settings. This contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, spanning from late August to early June. Immediate support is needed due to the current Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s recent notice, making your expertise invaluable from day one.

Working across two nearby schools serving elementary (K-5) and middle (6-8) grades, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, with small classroom sizes of 5-6 students each. In this collaborative environment, you’ll benefit from the consistent support of social workers, behavior technicians, registered behavior technicians, and special education teachers, allowing you to focus on high-level behavioral strategies and staff training.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience in therapeutic or social-emotional education settings preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting students transitioning back into general education
  • Strong collaboration and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and ongoing behavioral consultations
  • Deliver robust training for behavior technicians and registered behavior technicians
  • Collaborate closely with social workers and special education teachers to optimize student progress
  • Monitor and analyze behavioral interventions across classrooms and adjust strategies as needed
  • Focus on systems-level supports; no one-on-one student assignments required, as interventions are implemented by behavior technicians
