This full-time opening runs from 7:30am to 3:00pm during the 2026-2027 school year, located near Waukegan, IL. You’ll collaborate closely with students who have complex needs, utilizing your advanced skills in assistive technology and behavior analysis to empower their educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification required.
  • Significant experience supporting students with complex behavioral and learning needs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency implementing and training staff in assistive technology.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee evidence-based behavioral interventions for high school and transition-aged students.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and create comprehensive behavior support plans.
  • Work daily with educators, paraprofessionals, and therapy staff on integrating assistive technology tools into the classroom.
  • Provide direct support, modeling, and training for school staff and families.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Act as a resource for crisis intervention and maintain open communication with the educational team.
