Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Waukegan, Illinois

Seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a lasting impact within a supportive school environment near Waukegan, IL. This onsite contract opportunity offers flexibility with full-time hours (35 per week) but consideration for part-time availability if desired. You'll work closely with a small caseload of approximately five students who need skilled behavioral support, though numbers may fluctuate throughout the assignment. This role runs through June 3, 2027, providing the consistency and time to build meaningful interventions and relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
• Current or eligible for Illinois licensure
• Prior experience providing ABA services in a school or comparable setting preferred
• Ability to tailor behavioral interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Compassion and adaptability when working with students facing challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide direct support to students and consult with faculty regarding effective strategies
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and data analysis
• Train and support school personnel in carrying out interventions
• Collaborate with educational teams and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adjust strategies in response to student progress and data
