Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ABA methodologies, data collection, and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines outlined by the BACB
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and a dynamic academic environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to guide the development of individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Design, implement, and monitor ABA-based interventions for students on your caseload
  • Train and support school staff in ABA strategies, modeling techniques for intervention fidelity
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data, making recommendations based on outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to team decisions and advocating for student support
  • Provide consultations to educators and staff to enhance classroom management and student engagement
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records compliant with district and professional standards
