As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in this contract role, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to implement effective behavioral strategies, fostering an environment where every student can succeed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized behavior intervention plans and conduct assessments
- Comfortable consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Committed to professional growth and maintaining compliance with ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Support ongoing data collection, analysis, and program adjustments
- Train and guide teachers, paraprofessionals, and families in effective behavior strategies
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adapt interventions as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals
- Provide crisis intervention and management when necessary
- Maintain thorough records and ensure all work aligns with district and state guidelines
