Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing.
- Previous experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices.
- Effective communication skills for working with teachers, staff, students, and families.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret assessment data.
- Design and oversee implementation of tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with instructional staff to provide training and resources.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed for continued success.
- Offer direct support and modeling for teachers and aides in using ABA techniques.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development for students.
- Maintain accurate records and submit timely documentation.
