Step into a rewarding role dedicated to supporting elementary students throughout the 2026-2027 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This contract opportunity is based near Westport, CT, and offers a chance to make a measurable impact in a vibrant educational environment. The assignment runs full-time from August 24, 2026, through June 24, 2027.

In this position, you’ll work closely with educators, families, and school teams to provide expert guidance and behavioral support for students in preschool through fifth grade. You’ll be the behavior specialist for a caseload of 10-15 young learners, with responsibilities that include direct support for the elementary behavior class.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification is required
  • Experience developing and implementing effective behavioral interventions in school settings
  • Skill in building collaborative relationships with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Familiarity working with preschool through 5th grade students
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate, student-focused approach

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching, and professional development to classroom staff
  • Track and analyze student data to inform recommendations and progress monitoring
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of behavioral supports throughout the day
  • Support and enhance the elementary behavior classroom environment
