Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Westport, Connecticut

A forward-thinking district near Westport, CT seeks a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to contribute for the full 2026-2027 school year on a contract basis.

As a key resource for staff and students, you will collaborate closely with teachers and support personnel to foster positive behavioral outcomes. The position is full-time, beginning August 24, 2026, through June 24, 2027. You’ll work primarily with pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students, managing a focused caseload of 10-15 individuals—including specialized support for an elementary behavior class.

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification as a BCBA
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students in a behavioral support capacity
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans
• Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers
• Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, conduct, and oversee functional behavior assessments
• Create and update individualized behavior intervention plans for prek–5th grade students
• Support and consult with the elementary behavior classroom and general education classrooms
• Deliver staff and caregiver training as needed on behavior strategies and interventions
• Track and document student progress, making data-driven recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on behavioral goals
